We meet 4 times a year (Jan, April, June, and Sept) plus we have a two day Speakers School every November for speakers that want to advance their careers and people interested in learning how to start a successful career in the business of speaking. We meet in the central location of Charlotte and our meetings are always packed with great learning and networking opportunities. We bring in the best of the best speakers from throughout the US to share their knowledge and expertise. We also have several “Lunch and Learn” meetings throughout the year in random North and South Carolina locations. These are great opportunities for members to network in small intimate groups and to help and encourage one another in their speaking business.

Our Chapter is strong and one of the best in National Speakers Association. Many of our members have achieved recognition, and awards at the national level. Besides being an active part of our NSA/Carolinas Chapter, theyʼre often asked to speak at other NSA Chapters and for national workshops, conferences, and conventions.

There are more benefits to being a professional member of the National Speakers Association and NSA/Carolinas Chapter than I can list in this small space. In a nut shell, you will have opportunities to be an active part of a like-minded community of speaking professionals that are pursuing learning opportunities, sharing knowledge, achieving higher levels in their speaking careers, and making lasting friendships along the way.

We welcome guests and encourage you to attend a meeting in order to get a first hand experience of just what NSA/Carolinas is all about. The one comment we hear over and over is, “I wish I had joined NSA years ago, and I would now be so much father along. Why did I wait so long?” It's easy. All you need to do is to preregister as a guest and we'll be waiting at the front door to welcome you to NSA/Carolinas.

I have chosen the theme “Get Booked, Get Better, Get Bigger ” for this year. This is the year to quit saying, “One day, I want to ...” This year is your “one day”. Maybe you're thinking about a new book, a new speech, or a new market. Don't wait until the stars and the moon are perfectly aligned or the economy is booming. “Just Start” by letting NSA/Carolinas turn your “want to's” into “have done's”. NSA/Carolinas is committed to supplying you with quality educational programing, networking opportunities, and the encouragement to achieve your speaking career dreams.
