Featured Speakers – Kelly Swanson & Patrick Henry

Kelly Swanson

Kelly Swanson will be putting our NSA Carolina’s Members in the HOT SEAT!

Kelly will be sharing her NEW Speech Structure System that will help speakers who struggle with the core content structure of their speech – along with The Story Formula she has created to help you add powerful stories – with a lot of hot seat coaching mixed in.

Live and in person, Kelly Swanson will host “The Hot Seat Show” a real-time coaching experience! A master story-teller herself, Kelly will give feedback to speaker-contestants on their stories. Contestants share a five-minute story or pitch, and Kelly gives five minutes of feedback. Audience members watch and learn! Take away insights, tips, and techniques on how to make your stories impactful and seriously memorable.

Kelly Swanson is an award-winning storyteller, comedian, motivational speaker, author (Who Hijacked My Fairy Tale,  The Land of If Only, The Gutsy Girls Pocket Guide to Public Speaking, You. Your Story. Make An Impact.), storytelling coach, and creator of Prides Hollow and the wacky cast of southern characters who have charmed audiences from coast to coast for over 20 years. Her work has been featured in extensive online and print publications, and has won awards from the Film Advisory Board of Hollywood and the National Association of Parenting Publications. She was a featured entertainer for Holland America Cruise Lines, and Our State Magazine calls her one of North Carolina’s funniest women.

Patrick Henry, CSP

Becoming “Remember-able”

Celebrate with our NSA Carolina’s brother, Patrick Henry!

Patrick Henry is going to give the keynote of his life at this year’s NSA National Convention from the main stage. In this session, you will help Patrick write his speech titled, “Becoming Memorable.” You will get a sneak peak into Patrick’s creative journey and be the first audience to hear his speech.

With Kelly Swanson facilitating this very special “Hot Seat”, Patrick invites his local colleagues to give honest criticism, vote on “what’s funniest,” and offer guidance for making his delivery epic!

We will end the day with Kelly, interviewing Patrick. You’ll understand: his process, approach, and path to being invited to speak on the NSA main stage. Don’t miss this opportunity to see behind the scenes of professional speaker at work!

Patrick Henry is a former Nashville songwriter and current SiriusXM radio personality on The Family Comedy Channel and Blue Collar Radio. Patrick believes that the height of learning happens while we are being entertained…and so do the over one thousand meeting planners who have hired him. Patrick Henry is more than a motivational humorist, He is a performance keynote speaker and is obsessed with showing audiences how to create extraordinary customer service. Engagement is the foundation for loyalty and loyalty is the foundation for emotional and financial buy-in. Speakers are often viewed as a commodity in the current market place which is why his humor, guitar playing and the performing of original and customized songs offers a unique and memorable program for his clients.
