NSA Carolinas is the premier association for professional speakers throughout the Carolinas!
Attending our upcoming annual banquet and chapter program on June 14 and 15th is intentionally designed to equip and empower you in growing your speaking business and learning how to streamline it more effectively. Our event is also an opportunity to celebrate accomplishments from the past year, come together as a community and install our new 2024-25 Board of Directors!
Who is this event for? The NSA Carolinas banquet and program is for anyone serious about the business and craft of professional speaking. Even if you are just exploring the speaking profession, have recently launched into speaking or have seasoned full-time experience like many of us, everyone will find incredible value in both content and community. What all attendees will have in common is that we want to become better speakers and continually learn and share how to build our speaking businesses!
What happens during the Friday evening banquet? We start off with a Welcome Reception on the Rooftop of The Durham Hotel overlooking downtown Durham. Following the reception we enjoy a fabulous dinner, hear from a ‘surprise’ keynote speaker, recognize our CSP and CPAE members, honor members with chapter awards, celebrate our outgoing Board of Directors and install our NEW Board of Directors! Friday evening is a special celebration you do not want to miss!
Who is our Saturday program keynote speaker? We are thrilled to host Hall of Fame Speaker, Jim Cathcart, CSP, CPAE who is one of the top 5 most award-winning speakers in th
e world. His Top 1% TEDx video has over 2.6 million views and his 25 books are translated into multiple languages including 3 International bestsellers. He is past National President of the National Speakers Association, received NSA's most cherished award (The Cavett Award), and received Toastmasters International's most prestigious award, The Golden Gavel Award.
When will registration go live? The NSA Carolinas banquet and program is a 2-day event but you will have options to register for just the Friday evening banquet, just the Saturday program or both! Discounted early-bird registrations will go LIVE on April 24th and it will be first-come-first-serve basis. Seating is already limited and we do expect to sell out!
Where will the banquet and program take place? Our event will be hosted at The Durham Hotel located conveniently in the heart of downtown Durham, NC where you can make this a weekend experience. When registrations are live, we will also announce a special room block for those staying overnight on Friday.
Will meals be provided? Absolutely, all meals will be covered in your registration. You’ll experience a wide selection of cuisine representing Durham and the Carolinas!
